An excerpt from a film made by aeronautical engineer Richard Rhode, who flew on the last complete round-trip of the Martin M-130 Hawaii Clipper in June, 1938. Pan Am's Chief Engineer Andre Priester had invited Rhode to make the trip on behalf of the National Advisory committee on Aeronautics (NACA), forerunner to NASA. The film is the last known motion picture made before the Hawaii Clipper disappeared the following month between Guam and Manila.(1938).
